Dear Friends,
To those of you who supported us in our quest for Secretary of State, thank you! Although we fell short at the State Convention, I was truly humbled by the experience of so many donors, volunteers, and delegates working side by side to Restart our Party. The campaign trail opened my eyes to a lot of issues that go on outside of my district. As I traveled around the state I had the opportunity to meet a lot of new faces that represent all areas of our party, from our youngest to our most experienced members. We had a strong team that worked hard to help me become the nominee for Secretary of State; it was their passion and their willingness to help out that drove this campaign to the finish line. Now we cannot lose sight of our ultimate goal – beating the George Soros/John Stryker candidate – which is why I am now looking forward to supporting and helping Ruth Johnson to become our next Secretary of State. As for me, the road does not end here. I will continue to fight for fiscal accountability in Lansing. I will continue to fight for limited government and I’ll continue to stand strong against pro-abortion groups that aim to destroy the sanctity of life. I hope that you’ll take the time to support my candidacy for re-election to my state house seat, as this is one seat the Democrats will target seeking to hold on to their majority in the state house.
